Immediate Source of Acquisition
Original held by Karen Hoffman of Arizona, who inherited most of them from her father, Albert Hoffman. She agreed to allow me to scan them and make them available to the wider family.
General
Copy of original. Labeled on back first as "Grandma Brendel," which was then crossed out and "Great Grandma Haberberger" was written in. The photo was presumably brought to America by her daughter Kunigunda when she immigrated in 1883. It was included with a collection of family photos and newspaper clippings that passed from Albert Hoffman to his daughter Karen Hoffman.
